FIELD: automotive industry; diaphragm fuel pumps. SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel pump has housing with valves and unions and lower cover with diaphragm and its drive. Heat-insulating spacer is installed between housing and lower cover. Either heat-insulating parts are installed on pump connecting screws, or housing is connected with lower cover by screws, one part of which connects housing with heat-insulating spacer, and other part connects heat-insulating spacer with lower cover. Pump is connected to cylinder block by studs or screws with fitted-on heat-insulating parts. Heat-insulating spacer is placed between pump and engine cylinder block. EFFECT: improved operation and reliability of fuel pumps. 3 dwg
