FIELD: testing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing of fuel equipment of internal combustion engines. The instrument for diagnostics of a carburetor and a fuel pump of the automobile engine has a container equipped with a mirror and a measuring scale, and a lock of fastening the lid and the container to the lower part of the carburetor, at that at the bottom of the container the drain fitting is located, connected by the tube to the additional container having a drainage hole and a stepped connecting piece with a metering hole, and the recording device is made in the form of a separate control unit with the locking elements located on both sides of the recording device, characterised in that the container is made transparent and on its measuring scale or on the container wall the tags are placed corresponding to the level of fuel for different types of carburetors, in addition, the container is provided with a holder of the additional container tube, connected with it to the drain fitting of the container and the lid of the carburetor, installed on the container, has a quick-acting lock, and on the housing of the control unit from both sides of the recording device the retaining locking elements are placed, and it is equipped with an easily removable drain container also equipped with a retaining locking element.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the accuracy of measurement.
