FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps. SUBSTANCE: rotodynamic pump has housing made of nonmagnetic material and provided with working channel 2, working member 3 in form of plate corresponding in shape to plane of horizontal section of working channel 2, and drive 4 located in plane square to axis of housing 1. Line of intersection of plane in which drive 4 is located with plane of working member 3 divides plane of working member into two unequal parts S1 and S2, with larger part being located to side of working medium flow from plane intersection line. Point of application of force from drive 4 to working member 3 is located in middle of plane intersection line. Vertical slots 6 are made in vertical walls 5 working channel 2 in plane of location of drive 4. Working member 3 is provided with projections getting into slots 6. According to first design version, drive 4 is made in form of one horseshoe- shaped dc electromagnet straddling working channel 2, and working member 3 in zone of force application to working member is provided with magnetic material insert 8. If mechanical drive is installed on pump, its rod should be directly connected with working member by articulated joint. EFFECT: simplified design of pump. 3 cl, 4 dwg
