FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: simulator of Doppler frequency shift has n-arm circulator, antenna-waveguide path connected to first arm of circulator, n-2 high-speed electromechanical phase inverters each being connected to proper arm of circulator, half-power directional coupler, first and second low-speed reflecting electromechanical phase inverters, absorbing load. First, second, third and fourth arms of directional coupler are correspondingly connected to n-th arm of circulator, to input of first low-speed phase inverter, to input of second low-speed phase inverter, to absorbing load. Rotors of both low-speed phase inverters are interconnected by common rotation axis. Doppler frequency shifts simulated by simulator are calculated by given formulas depending on length of wave, Doppler frequency shift of each i-th high-speed phase inverter, rotation radii of reflecting elements of first and second low-speed reflecting phase inverters and number of revolutions per second of common axis connecting rotors of low-speed phase inverters.
