FIELD: radar engineering; small navigation radars for limited-displacement watercraft. SUBSTANCE: antenna has rectangular waveguide with radiating slits framed over entire active length with diverging plates of horn, convex insert made of radio-transparent material and mounted in horn mouth, shielding casing, and connecting waveguide with flange provided in antenna-to-transceiver joint incorporating union nut. Rectangular waveguide is built up of two sections spaced 86 deg.?20 min. apart in direction of antenna radiation relative to its directivity pattern axis; at point of their interconnection they are also joined with connecting waveguide which is brought to lower wall of rectangular waveguide. Horn plates are made of metal and rigidly fixed on holder which is, essentially, irregularly shaped extended plate with soldering holes and pipe connection in central part that accommodates connecting waveguide. Respective sections of extended plate of holder are joined with lower plate of horn and with lower wall of rectangular waveguide, and its upper edge is rigidly fixed with horizontal-section edge of horn upper plate. Horn is mounted on upper wall of rectangular waveguide. Side surface of connecting waveguide flange is fixed to inner wall of pipe-connection neck. Adapter having central through bore of size fitting cross-sectional area of connecting waveguide is joined to contact surface formed by lower walls of flange and pipe-connection neck and placed inside union nut. EFFECT: reduced mass and size, increased flexural rigidity and mechanical strength, facilitated manufacture of antenna. 4 cl, 4 dwg
