ALL-WAVE TELEVISION ANTENNA Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2169419 C2

FIELD: antenna engineering; multiprogram television antennas. SUBSTANCE: antenna designed to receive television programs from distant ultrahigh- and very-high- frequency transmitting centers at a time has reflector with four directive antennas arranged in front of reflector and mechanically fastened to carrier through insulators; installed in three lower directive antennas are ultrahigh-frequency active dipoles, and very-high-frequency dipole; carrier of directive antennas is mechanically secured in position at preset distance from reflector; active dipoles are electrically connected to two-wire line with matching transformer inserted in its center. Novelty is that very-high-frequency active dipole is extended through height beyond reflector and secured to carrier through insulator and positioning- and-locking device and that upper directive antenna carries ultrahigh-frequency active dipole; very-high- frequency dipole is connected through two-wire line and its own matching transformer to first input of adder whose second input is connected to output of ultrahigh-frequency matching transformer; adder output functions as antenna output. In addition, positioning-and-locking device is made in the form of two bushings; lower one has vertical axial hole and set of vertical holes spaced apart at preset distance over circumference; upper bushing accommodates axial guide pin and at least one locking pin whose height is smaller than that of guide pin; axial guide pin is inserted in axial hole of lower bushing; vertical holes made over circumference receive locking pin of upper bushing; lower and upper bushings are rigidly fixed on lower and upper parts of carrier, respectively. EFFECT: improved resign, enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced gain and efficiency, reduced directivity distortions. 2 cl, 5 dwg
