FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to log-periodic antennas. The expected result is achieved by installing a director-type parasite in addition to the smallest vibrator, whose size coincides with the size of the smallest vibrator, in a classical log-periodic antenna containing a number of symmetrical active vibrators powered by a two-wire symmetrical distribution line in the form of carrier pipes with a short-circuited jumper, while a passive reflector is installed behind the largest vibrator, the size of which coincides with the largest vibrator, the length of the two-wire distribution line is extended by using conductors by an amount, commensurate with the distance between the smallest vibrator and the director-type parasite, realizing a kind of resonator.
EFFECT: expansion of the operating frequency range in the lower and upper parts of the operating range by reducing the standing wave coefficient with a simultaneous increase in the gain.
