FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: tennis shoe has sole 1 including shock-absorbing liner-base formed integral with sole. Shock-absorbing liner-base has longitudinal chamber 20 and transverse chambers 21 intersecting one another and defining corner portions. Shock-absorbing liner-insert is releasably inserted into shock-absorbing liner- base and has projecting hollow cellular bodies, which are adapted for free insertion into chambers of shock-absorbing liner-base. After insertion of shock-absorbing liner-insert into liner-base, it is filled with air or gas for urging cellular bodies to increase in volume for tight fastening in corner portions of shock-absorbing liner-base. Shock-absorbing liner-insert together with shock-absorbing liner-base have section of three-dimensional geometric hollow configuration with cellular bodies projecting into it. Hollow tube in liner-insert is connected to air valve. Tennis shoe of such construction may be readily assembled and broken liner-insert may be quickly replaced. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency and improved shock-absorbing characteristics. 16 cl, 24 dwg
