FIELD: coordinated traffic control using neuron networks. SUBSTANCE: method includes division of entire city or town into separate regions under control with monitoring light signals incorporating microcomputers installed at their boundaries and connected to traffic control center equipped with computers; monitoring light signals are connected to regional light signals which are provided with microcomputers; regional control of monitoring light signals is effected from traffic control center simultaneously with regional light signals using neuron programs loaded in microcomputers of all light signals and in computers of control center. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of regional traffic control. 5 dwg
