FIELD: electromechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: slot portions of coils are compressed upon stretching and shaping end portions; coil with shaped end portions is spread for the time being and every other turn is insulated with adhesive-resistant film in vicinity of heads and on one fourth to one third of end-portion length in upper half-circuit of coil; before placing coils in stator their slot portions are set with respect to pitch and radius of their arrangement in stator, heated to 50-60 C, and compressed for 5-10 s to ensure desired size of coil found from formula given in description of invention. EFFECT: improved reparability of stator winding in case of fault found in one coil. 3 dwg
