METHOD FOR TREATING THE CASES OF TROPHIC ULCERS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying bandage with active substance to the wound surface daily. The patient is settled in isolation ward for 50- 60 min with ozone-oxygen mixture supplied. 2.5 kPa pressure is supported for the first 5-15 min and 2.5 kPa rarefaction is created during the next 5-15 min. 4-5 cycles are prescribed for one session with pressure changed in the isolation ward. Ozone-oxygen mixture is locally subcutaneously administered in the amount of 40-60 cm³ under ozone concentration of 2000 mcg/l and sodium chloride so saturated with ozone is intravenously injected daily until the treatment is over. Enterosorbent hold in hypertonic sodium chloride solution is used as active substance until epithelialization takes place. The hypertonic sodium chloride solution is pretreated with ozone-oxygen mixture of ozone concentration of 5000 mcg/l. Bandage is applied above the enterosorbent at the end of treatment in isolation ward. The bandage is impregnated with presaturated ozone in concentration of 4000-5000 mcg/l and antiseptic. Epithelialization being achieved, ozonized treatment with ozone as active substance is administered under ozone concentration of 5000 mcg/l during 4 h and vegetable oil.
