FIELD: granulation of hard granular materials in plate granulators, applicable in food, chemical and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: the plate granulator has a frame and an inclined cylinder-shaped plate installed for simultaneous rotation and swinging relative to the axis coinciding with the axis of its rotation that are effected by means of a rotation drive and a physical pendulum with a trigger mechanism. Adjustment of the parameters of the physical pendulum to the circum-resonance frequency makes it possible to reduce the friction loss. EFFECT: reduced consumption of energy for plate swinging and enhanced capacity of granulator. 4 cl, 2 dwg
