FIELD: devices for granulation of materials; food-processing, pharmaceutical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: plate-type granulator has housing with cover with inclined plate mounted rotatably inside it, drive of plate, loading and unloading branch pipes, injectors and near-wall and bottom knives. Activator with drive is mounted in cover perpendicularly relative to bottom of plate. Activator is located at clearance of 5-10 mm relative to bottom and side of plate. Ratio of diameter of working member of activator to diameter of plates is equal to 1:12-1:8. Granulator ensures formation of granules of fraction of 0.75-2.5 mm. EFFECT: reduction of time required for granulation; increased yield of granules. 3 dwg
