FIELD: metal cutting machine tools. SUBSTANCE: shaping members supported by wedge surface of cover are in the form of strikers having shaping and starting faces. Strikers are spring-loaded and mounted with possibility of motion along symmetry axis of tool. Cover is joined with tool body at one side by means of spring-loaded bearing and at other side - by means of mechanism converting rotation of cover (set by blank) to its reciprocation motion for providing translation shaping motion of strikers. It provides increased area of plastic contact with shaping portion of tool, enhanced contact strength of strikers. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of metal cutting machine tools at lowered dimensions of tool. 1 dwg
