FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; rockets provided with multi-engine first stage. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in launching the multi-engine first stage and ascent of rocket. In case of failure of one engine of non-explosive nature, defective rocket shall be withdraw from members of launch structures by turning it by roll angle of 39 to 90 deg. or by pitch angle of 5 to 10 deg. EFFECT: enhanced safety of launch due to avoidance of collision of rocket with failed engine with launch structures. 1 dwg
