FIELD: pyrotechnics, more particularly manufacture of fireworks components and products, e.g. for equipment of fountains, blasting squibs, sparking little stars. SUBSTANCE: sparkling composition comprises thermal mixture based on ammonium perchlorate and urotropin, powdery spark generator, ammonium nitrate and copper carbonate, ratios of ingredients being as follows: ammonium perchlorate, 41+5; ammonium nitrate; 19+3; urotropin, 16+3; copper carbonate, 6+3; spark generator, 18+4. In order to generate white sparks of higher intensity which are visible in day time, titanium or titanium hydride is incorporated into sparkling composition. EFFECT: increased spectacular effect and improved safety during manufacture of fireworks. 2 cl, 8 dwg, 4 ex, 4 tbl
