FIELD: military equipment, in particular, practice of protection of missile-artillery complexes of navy surface and auxiliary ships against moisture destructive attack. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in closing of the complex by a fairing, installation and fastening of the foundation on the ship barbette. The pocket is made before installation of the foundation on the working surface of the barbette. A layer of heat insulator is applied onto the foundation bottom. At installation this layer of heat insulator is matched relative to the pocket. Prior to application of the layer of heat insulator, it is good practice to introduce the drain ducts in the bottom that are open on the side of the inner compartment of the barbette. EFFECT: enhanced service life of the complexes due reduction of the effect of moisture destructive factors. 2 cl, 2 dwg
