FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: multifunctional modular marine target unit consists of a marine unified platform, assembly housing elements, a cover target superstructure, 10 metal masts, a rigging set for fastening the masts. The unit includes a plastic net with increased reflectivity, a camouflage net with a picture of the onboard projection of the ship, towing and mooring devices, positioning means, simulation devices and means, devices for setting up aerosol screens. The assembly housing elements and the cover target superstructures consist of plastic elements of a cubic shape. Cubic elements are assembled from plastic lath-ribs using a bayonet connection and a "pin-socket" connection via screw-cord fastener. The target unit is equipped with devices simulating a radar background thermal field with two zones of increased infrared radiation. Devices and means for simulating the acoustic field of a ship are formed from a hydroacoustic station of the "Zarya" type, means for simulating the operation of two types of radar stations MP-760 "Frigate-MA" or 5P27 "Fourke" and 5P20K "Polyment" or 3P95 "Dagger", means for simulation the operation of two types of simulators of radio transmitting devices P-654 "Perch" and P-625 "Fir" or SSS "Centaurus-NM", simulator of setting cover distracting targets - CDT.

EFFECT: ensuring high degree of simulation of the physical fields of surface ships and submarines during the conduct of combat training of naval forces, such as rocket, artillery, torpedo firing and bombing, with the possibility of testing new types of missile and artillery weapons, naval underwater weapons and air-launched weapons, and solving problems in wartime.
