METHOD OF CONTROL OF EFFICIENCY OF ANTITUMOR TREATMENT OF WOMEN WITH MALIGNANT GENITALIA TUMORS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of control of patients state in the process of treatment and in periods of dispensary inspection. Method involves study of hematological, biochemical and immunological indices of peripheral blood in carrying out the specific antitumor treatment of patients with malignant tumors of genitalia and use of different kinds of curative effects. Assay of efficiency of curative measures is carried out by digital indices of hemoglobin level, 112 ± 5.0; absolute count of lymphocytes, 0.8 ± 0.06; large granulocyte-containing lymphocytes, 12.4 ± 0.3; index of monocytic-macrophagal transformation of monocytes, 38.2 ± 2.0; ratio of superoxide dismutase to total peroxidase activity of lymphocytes, 16.0 ± 4.9; ratio of superoxide dismutase to total peroxidase activity of neutrophiles, 9.4 ± 2.3; ratio of vitamins E and A content in neutrophiles, 1.2 ± 0.2; ratio of vitamin E content in erythrocytes and plasma, 2.0 ± 0.3. Analysis of results of study of the above indicated indices in 227 patients with malignant tumors shows that given digital values of these indices are objective proof of efficiency of carrying out curative measures and favorable prognosis of patients state. Different digital values indicate the absence of effect, unfavorable prognosis and necessity of carrying out additional curative treatments. Method ensures to obtain objective estimation of treatment to be carried out and to realize prognosis of patients viability. EFFECT: improved method of control of antitumor treatment. 3 ex
