FIELD: hinged-type portable telephone sets. SUBSTANCE: device serves for electrical connection of microphone mounted on hinged cover to audio circuit of telephone-set main part. Hinged cover is disconnected from main part of telephone set under the action of impressed force. Hinge mechanism has two hinge units each incorporating hinge body, hinge spindle with bulge on one end and pin on other mounted in hinge body; conducting facility press-fitted into trough hole formed along hinge spindle axis; cam joint provided with opposing lobes and respectively opposing cavities alternately formed on one side to come in mesh with hinge spindle, as well as through hole made along hinge spindle axis; hinge cover mounted so as to close end of hinge body and provided with through hole formed along hinge spindle axis; and spiral spring placed between cam joint and hinge cover to ensure desired elastic force. Hinged cover incorporates first binding post that has flat surface, curved surface, and tensioning part to maintain electric contact with conducting facility, and microphone mounted on hinged cover.
