FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: image forming device has the following: a main housing fitted with a first electrical connector, an image transfer unit which is detachably installed in the main housing which is fitted with a second electrical connector; and a guide device for guiding the image transfer unit in the installation direction and in the lateral direction such that the second electrical connector of the image transfer unit is connected to the first electrical connector of the main housing. Impediment between the image transfer unit and the inner lateral surface of the main housing is therefore reduced and installation becomes easier.
EFFECT: improved design of removal, installation between the main housing and the detachable units, reduced wear and prevention of breakage of terminals on the inner surface of the main housing.
