FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: human abortive serum is mixed with product obtained by mixing serum with antibodies raised to human alpha- fetoprotein with normal human serum in the ratio 10:1. Mixture is centrifuged, precipitate is dissolved in physiological solution, pH = 2, cooled ethyl alcohol is added to solution in the ratio 1:1 followed by centrifugation. Cooled ethyl alcohol is added again to the remained solution in the ratio 2: 1. After centrifugation precipitate is obtained that is a human alpha-fetoprotein with purity 90%, not less. Polysaccharide is added to the obtained alpha-fetoprotein followed by package and lyophilic drying. EFFECT: decreased cost, high purity of end product, simplified method. 2 cl
