TANK FOR DISCRETE SUPPLY OF LIQUID Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: servicing items of movable units, stationary installations, shower rooms and oil pumping over plants for discrete supply of liquid medium and devices designed for position (local) supply of liquid media with density less and more than 1g/cu.mm. SUBSTANCE: tank surface in plan view is separated into several zones. One zone is in form of polyhedral closed surface. One more zone is made in form of semicircular projection in cross-section. Vertical outline of tank wall is additionally provided with projection. Filter with perforating bottom is installed under tank cover. Tank side has two depressions and complicated profile lock projection. Area in zone of complicated profile lock projection has minor depressions reducing stress of lock device supporting surfaces. To enhance passive safety and trouble-free operation of hydraulic systems providing liquid supply from tank, depressions are inclined with respect to tank vertical position. In cross-section of these depressions, smooth roundnesses are made owing to shell shape to ensure design strength of each tank working unit provided with hole. Shape of lock device is formed by surfaces comprising closed space of depression of rectangular type in normal section. EFFECT: higher economical efficiency due to higher quality of manufacture of shell products owing to leveling of transition fin zone thus facilitating favourable conditions of tank service in temperature fluctuations and cyclic loading of important joints. 7 dwg
