FIELD: plastic working of metals. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has fixing members arranged in parallel one with the other and adapted for cooperation with inner and outer surfaces of parts. One of fixing members is rigidly connected to base and other member is movable by pressing device. Pressing device has drop planks pivotally connected to base. Planks are provided with slots for receiving clamping wedges. Fixing members are made in the form of set of pins inserted through axially aligned openings of plates, which are rigidly interconnected and arranged in pairs of parallel plates. Each pin is positioned for longitudinal displacement and fixation relative to plates. Fixing member pins for inner and outer surfaces of parts are staggered one with respect to the other. Apparatus may be used for stamping of billets from titanium alloys. EFFECT: improved quality of parts produced from sheet by positioning parts in free, unclamped state in longitudinal directions during thermal treatment process. 3 dwg
