FIELD: extraction of matter with organic extractive agents in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: extractive agent Mo (VI) and W (VI) includes mixture of oleic acid and triethanol amine, and inert diluent is machine oil. Extraction is carried out at pH value ranging from 0 to equal or greater than 3, optimum pH value being continuously adjusted for not more than 1 hour. Extractive agent may include mixture oleic acid, triethanol amine and machine oil. Said mixture is lubricant which comprises, wt %: oleic acid, 10-12; triethanol amine, 4.5-6.0, and machine oil, the balance. EFFECT: efficient, inexpensive and selective method of extraction of molybdenum and tungsten ions using less volatile and readily available extractive agent. 2 cl, 3 tbl
