FIELD: precious metal purification. SUBSTANCE: impurities are extracted with oleic acid/triethanolamine mixture in inert diluent (motor oil) continuously maintaining optimal pH value. In particular, extractant may contain 10- 12% oleic acid and 4.5-6.0% triethanolamine. Selective removal of impurities from aqueous solutions of precious metals can be achieved by performing fractional extraction by gradually increasing or decreasing pH value and maintaining this value constant in each step of periodical extraction process.
