Seal has flexible base with at least three elastic projecting members and recesses between them. Flat sealing strip is made from soft elastic material; it is engageable with projecting members of seal, thus forming fins received by recesses found between projecting members. Width of flat sealing strip exceeds width of seal (at area of contact) and is found from relationship given in description. EFFECT: low requirements for smoothness of clearance between cover and hatch edge former without impairing tightness; possibility of maintaining high excessive pressure inside or outside cabin. 3 dwg
