FIELD: recuperative air heaters for metallurgy and other industries; heating and heat-treating furnaces and other thermal plants where preheating of cold air is required. SUBSTANCE: device has tube bank connected to supply and discharge ducts, baffles dividing the discharge duct into sections where preheating air temperature sensors and flow regulators are fitted. Proposed device has baffles in delivery duct dividing it into sections and separating transversal rows of tubes where outlet air temperature is measured, thus making it possible to arranged air flow regulators at cold air inlet. Drive of air flow regulator is connected with control line of preheating air temperature sensor of the same row of tubes. EFFECT: avoidance of bypass hot air pipe line; increased productivity of recuperator; reduced electrical and thermal losses. 2 dwg
