FIELD: production of furniture. SUBSTANCE: folding bed has frame made in the form of rectangular three-dimensional construction for receiving layer with mattress. Bracket is secured to wall. Tie-rod is pivotally attached to bracket and to frame side. Pole is secured to wall. Roller support is adapted for rolling over side surface of pole. Upon reaching pole top, roller support rolls onto upper end surface of pole to take up working position. Supporting legs are pivotally attached to frame side remote from wall, and frame side adjacent to wall is tightly inserted between wedge-shaped stops. Folding bed of such construction may be used in homes, hotels and summer cottages. EFFECT: simplified construction, improved compactness in inoperative position and increased operating characteristics. 4 dwg
