FIELD: railway transport; repair equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed repair device has housing with cover, with shaft passing through holes in end face wall of housing and cover. Radial ball bearings are installed on shaft inside housing, being loaded by cylindrical spring through bushings relative to each other. To provide axial reciprocation of shaft, one of ball bearings is installed under cover with slide fit of outer race relative to inner diameter of housing. Other ball bearing is installed with slide fit of inner race relative to outer diameter of shaft. Working head is secured on free end of shaft arranged at side of end face wall of housing. Cutting plates are installed on working head for cutting off clinched part of pitch bolt on nut. Guide cup with axial hole for nut is secured at this side of housing.
