FIELD: railway transport; repair facilities. SUBSTANCE: device has draft gear compressing working member. Working members has housing with projections in head part for meshing with traction clamp connecting strips, and arranged coaxially in housing. Nut is installed in tail part of working member between housing and rod by means of unidirectional rectangular threaded joints. Housing-nut threaded joint has thread pitch t1. Nut-rod threaded joint has thread pitch t2, t1 > t2. To provide translational travel of rod, key is fitted in longitudinal slots of housing and rod. Key is arranged in head part of working member. Travel of rod at one turn of nut is equal to difference in thread pitches of threaded joints. End piece is installed in rod in head part of working member on thread. Rod is provided with through hole, and nut has axial hole for turning the end piece out of rod from inside. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced safety at repairing. 3 dwg
