METHOD FOR PROTECTIVE PAINTING OF ASSEMBLED ELECTRICAL MACHINE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of electrical machines, mainly induction motors. SUBSTANCE: method involves suspension of electrical machine on continuous-action conveyer, its conveying to painting bay, pre-painting treatment, painting, drying, and conveying of finished product to store-room. Machine is suspended from mounting facility in the form of rod or set of rods of broken-line configuration with at least one sleeve inserted in drive end of machine shaft rigidly fixed to its lower section at 20-60 deg. to horizon so that machine center of gravity occurs on vertical line crossing central area on conveyer for supporting mounting facility at same direction of sleeve axis inclination to horizon; all other pre-painting operations of electrical machine, its painting, drying, and conveying to store-room are made without removing it from mounting facility.
