FIELD: electromechanical engineering; induction motor manufacture. SUBSTANCE: process includes manufacture of electrical machine components and assemblies. Stator frame to be heated is placed in centering facility mounted on upper tier of induction heating installation incorporating double-tier table using split magnetic core of inductor in which length of each circuit of core upper movable part is greater than that of core lower part circuit coaxial with respect to the former. Then frame is press-fitted onto stack of stator stampings whereupon stator assembly is cooled down, bearings are heated and press-fitted onto shaft journals, and after that rotor assembled with press-fitted bearings is inserted in stator assembly this procedure being followed by mounting end shields; prior to do so, wavy spring is inserted in one of end shields and then both are press-fitted onto frame by means of press and secured in position. Assembled electrical machine is suspended on conveyer from mounting facility in the form of rod or rod system of broken-line configuration; at least one hub is rigidly fixed on lower section of the latter and machine shaft extension is inserted into this hub so that center of gravity of machine occurs on vertical line crossing center of mounting- facility supporting area on conveyer. All remaining operations are made without removing machine from mounting facility. EFFECT: improved quality of assembly, enhanced labor productivity, facilitated procedure. 3 cl, 7 dwg
