FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding rolls and faceted paired threshing rolls arranged behind feeding rolls. Pair of additional feeding rolls is arranged behind each pair of faceted threshing rolls. Pairs of feeding and threshing rolls are disposed in seed catching chamber incorporating auger-type conveyors. Drive shaft of chain-and-slat conveyor and feeder beater are disposed under lower pair of feeding rolls. Stripper beater is mounted above upper pair of feeding rolls. Seed flow adapted for threshing is directed by feeding rolls upward onto first pair of faceted threshing rolls for separating full-value seeds. Facets and ribs of subsequent pair of faceted rolls act upon spikes to extract seeds from their inner and middle layers. Apparatus is designed for threshing seeds of small-seeded and easily damaged crops. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency by reduced extent of mechanical damage and improved sowing qualities of seeds. 1 dwg
