FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly preparation of concentrate regenerated hydrochloric acid and pure iron oxide. SUBSTANCE: aqueous solution resulting from iron-ore concentrated is concentrated, and iron chloride is thereafter extracted and reextracted. Method comprises second stage of concentration, extraction and reextraction. As disclosed in first embodiment, first stage raffinate in combination with some amount of second stage raffinate is concentrated in second stage. Second stage reextract combination with original hydrochloric solution is concentrated in first stage. Purified trivalent iron chloride solution is withdrawn with first stage reextract, and waste with remaining amount of second stage raffinate. As disclosed in second embodiment, first stage reextract in combination with remaining amount of second stage raffinate is concentrated in second stage. Larger amount of second stage raffinate in combination with original hydrochloric solution and larger amount of first stage raffinate is concentrated in first stage. Purified trivalent iron solution is withdrawn with second stage reextract, and waste with remaining amount of first stage first stage concentrate, concentration in both stages is carried out b evaporation of corresponding solutions. Extracting agent includes aliphatic alcohols, e.g. octanol-1, octanol-2,2-ethylhexanol or mixture thereof. Reextracting agent includes HCl- containing condensate resulting from evaporation. Recovery of iron chloride is 96-98 % FeCl3 concentration in solution is at least 300 kg/cubic m. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 19 cl, 6 ex, 3 dwg
