FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy and can be used in the recovery of sulfuric acid production solutions. The sulfuric acid solution containing the impurity elements is subjected to extraction treatment with conversion the main part of sulphuric acid into the primary extract, and the main part of the impurity elements - into the primary raffinate. The primary extract is washed from the impurity elements with a sulfuric acid solution, which is added to the original sulfuric acid solution or primary raffinate. The washed primary extract is treated with the sulfuric acid solution to produce a primary re-extract in the form of a purified sulfuric acid solution with the concentration of 450-600 g/l. The primary raffinate is subjected to the extraction treatment with a nitrogen or phosphorus-containing extractant to produce a secondary extract and a secondary raffinate containing 100-250 g/l of sulfuric acid. The secondary extract is subjected to an aqueous re-extraction to produce a secondary re-extract in the form of the sulfuric acid solution, which is used as a re-extractant to treat the washed primary extract.
EFFECT: it is allowed to increase the concentration of the produced purified sulfuric acid solution.
