FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy, particularly, methods of processing of copper sulfide concentrates formed in flotation of copper-nickel converter mattes; applicable in processing of ore copper sulfide concentrates and converter mattes. SUBSTANCE: leaching of copper concentrate at the first stage of claimed method is effected with copper sulfate solution containing chloride ion in quantity of 0.02-2.5 g/l at temperature of not less than 60 C. Before the second stage of leaching, cementate is subjected to desulfuration with oxygen- containing gas at temperature of 800-1300 C to obtain refined copper oxide or copper alloy. Copper oxide is leached with sulfuric acid solution to obtain copper sulfate solutions and insoluble residue containing precious metals. Copper alloy is blown with hydrocarbon fuel to form pure anode copper. EFFECT: increased recovery of nonferrous and noble metals, provided selective separation of nickel, cobalt and iron from copper, reduced expenditures for processing, and simplified process features. 3 cl, 2 tbl
