FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method of processing copper-nickel sulphide materials can be used in non-ferrous metallurgy during processing of copper-nickel sulphide materials. Processing of copper-nickel sulphide materials involves oxidative annealing of the material to obtain ash, leaching of the cinder with recycling solution, separation of leaching residue and electro extraction of copper from the leaching solution. Cinder and the dust formed during roasting are leached separately. Dusts are leached in recycled copper raffinate together with separated part of solution of waste ash processing circuit, which is represented by part of solution supplied for leaching after electro-extraction of copper. One separates dust leaching residue. Copper is extracted from solution of leaching of dust by liquid extraction with subsequent separate electro extraction of copper from reverse re-extract. After that part of raffinate is separated for transfer to nickel production.

EFFECT: method allows to increase production parameters, in particular, to increase direct extraction of copper into commercial products, to reduce losses of copper and other valuable components, to reduce incomplete production of non-ferrous and precious metals due to reduced speed.
