FIELD: separation of suspensions by filtering with vibrating filter elements applicable in chemical and radiochemical industries for separation from liquid of fine-grained material liable to aggregation, for instance, heavy metal hydroxides. SUBSTANCE: filter element of device for method embodiment is installed at angle of inclination to horizon of 0-(-2) deg and subjected to linear harmonic vibration with acceleration amplitude of 75-150 m/s2 directed at angle of inclination of vibration trajectory (relative to direction of motion over filter element) from 25 to 60 dwg. Initial suspension is supplied onto filter element by means of funnel provided with guide plates. Solid material containing aggregates going out of filter element is passed through disperser. Vibratory drive is used in form of electromagnetic vibration exciter with dynamic damper that makes it possible to increase and regulate drive power and to reduce transmission of vibration to device base. EFFECT: higher efficiency of process of vibration filtration of suspensions and quality of separated solid product. 4 cl, 3 dwg
