FIELD: manufacture of knitted products. SUBSTANCE: double-layer warp-knit fabric has outer and inner layers joined by elastic threads. Outer layer is made from wool yarn and inner layer is made from cotton. Elastic threads are passed so as to form loops arranged between two layers of knitted fabric, exactly behind loops of cotton thread, without being exposed on outside surface. Filling inelastic threads are running in diagonal line between knitted fabric layers. Warp-knit fabric is extendable in two directions and may be used in medicine, at home, as well as for technical purposes.
