FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbocompressor designed for supercharging of internal combustion engines, particularly to bearing units including sliding bearings with sliding bushings which makes it possible to increase reliability by improving lubrication of bearings. For this purpose bearing bushing is provided with coaxial cavities on its end faces. Sliding bearings are made in form of separate floating inserts mated with clearance by their outer surfaces with inner surfaces of end face cavities. Each outer surface of inserts has at least one screw groove communicating with oil distributing space. Floating inserts are provided with outer end face flanges. Directions of lead of helix of grooves made on inner and outer surfaces of one floating insert coincide. Angle of load of groove helix of floating insert adjoining turbine wheel is orientated in counter-clockwise direction at any direction of rotation of rotor, and angle of lead of groove helix of floating insert adjoining compressor wheel is orientated in clockwise direction at any direction of rotation of rotor.
