FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: bearing segmental plain bearing contains a housing with grease feed channels and a drain cavity and with an insert (2) of two half-shells with an annular groove (3) and channels (4) for individual lubrication therein to be placed in a floating separator (5) with self-aligning segments (7) with mounting studs and with axial distribution grooves for supplying grease to the inlet and outlet of oil at the outlet edges, one of which, at the entrance edge, is connected by radial channels to the cavity under the segment (7). Individual lubricant supply is carried out under the segments (7) formed in the circumferential groove on the back (13), which are located in the separator (5) windows with throttling end and circumferential gaps, while ensuring the maximum swing of the end points of the bearing working surfaces of segment (7) within the limits, corresponding to the possibility of moving the journal shaft (8) within the diametral clearance between the journal shaft (8) and the inner bore of the bearing.
EFFECT: increase of vibration resistance and load-carrying capacity of the bearing segment sliding bearing by increasing its damping properties, reducing lubricant consumption and optimizing the thermal operation of the bearing.
