TOOTHED CLUTCH Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: toothed clutches; double clutch for rolling stock units. SUBSTANCE: toothed clutch consists of body and coupling member located inside body. Coupling member has first thread is zone of its perimeter (circumferential zone) and clutch body has second thread in zone of its perimeter (circumferential zone); both threads form gear-tooth system whose teeth are movable relative to one another. Bearing cover is provided on end face between clutch body and coupling member; this cover is made in form of circular disk and is used for protection of gear-tooth system. At least one corrugated tube is axially secured between clutch body and coupling member; this tube is used for sealing-up the gear- tooth system and control of clutch body position in spring-loaded manner. EFFECT: avoidance of irregularity of travel, unbalance and wear of sealing members during rotation of clutch. 31 cl, 5 dwg
