FIELD: test equipment, applicable in check-up of leak-proofness of fuel tanks of launch vehicles operating in vacuum at low temperatures. SUBSTANCE: the device has a test chamber for accommodation of the vessel to be tested communicating with the liquid refrigerant feed and vent pipelines and with the test gas feed pipeline, leak detector, pressure gauge, level gauge and a device for cooling of the test gas communicating with the test gas feed pipeline. The cooling device may be made as a heat exchanger, which communicates with the liquid refrigerant feed source. The cooling device may be made as a throttling system. A throttle valve is installed at the inlet of the cooling device. Throttle valves may be installed at the inlet and outlet of the cooling device.
