FIELD: testing technique, namely fluid-tightness control of different articles. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing product in pressure chamber; pressure testing of product in pressure chamber with use of testing gas for predetermined time period; then removing testing gas out of pressure chamber and vacuumizing it; evaluating fluid-tightness degree of product according to change of concentration of testing gas in pressure chamber with use of leakage finder; after placing product into pressure chamber supplying into it rated testing-gas flow equal to admissible degree of leakage of product; realizing additional decompression of pressure chamber; registering time period from time moment of starting decompression until time moment of registering by means of leakage finder predetermined change of testing gas concentration caused by supply of rated testing-gas flow and registering value of said change of gas concentration; interrupting supply of rated testing gas flow; sustaining similar conditions for subsequent and additional decompression of pressure chamber; measuring change of concentration of testing gas in pressure chamber caused by product in above mentioned time interval; evaluating degree of leakage according to relation of measured changes of gas concentration caused by rated testing gas flow and by product. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity, improved accuracy of testing.
