FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor has trolley with four support wheels for moving along guides installed on carrying structure, and two guide wheels moving between guides along running path or in guide slot. Trolley has drive shoe coupled by friction forces with belt moving in parallel with guides. These guides can be mounted on base installed on floor or on bearing structures suspended from ceiling. Guides can be made in form of modules to be interconnected as need be to form both straight horizontal sections of conveyor paths with upwards and downwards tilting and rounded off sections. Belt is stretched between two pulleys mounted on ends of each module, one of which is made driving one and connected with its electric motor installed on module proper. Trolley is provided with grip designed for transportation of pallet on which load is to be installed. Belt, like drive shoe, can be made cogged to increase meshing of shoes and belt. For transportation of long and heavy loads, trolley is made elongated and is provided with drive shoe on each end. Conveyor can be made of separate modules providing assembling of conveyor system of floor and overhead design. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 13 cl, 4 dwg
