FIELD: main organic synthesis, more particularly chemical processing of natural gas to prepare hydrocarbons and derivatives thereof, e.g. ethylene, acetylene, benzene, naphthaline, perchloroethylene, tetrachloromethane. SUBSTANCE: method comprises oxidative condensation of methane and other natural gas components in outer zone of diffusion flame of fuel in excessive amount as conversion products are constantly withdrawn. Fuel and/or oxidizer is preheated to 500-1100 C. In order to control process, catalytically inactive substances are added into reaction. Method is simple so far as equipment is concerned, is carried out at atmospheric pressure at comparatively low temperature and ecologically safe. EFFECT: more efficient chemical processing. 3 cl, 6 ex, 1 dwg
