Abstract RU 2287543 C1

FIELD: petrochemical processes.

SUBSTANCE: gaseous methane and chlorine are supplied to channels of burner communicating with reactor chamber and gaseous mixture is inflamed to form diffusion flame. After ignition of diffusion flame, most part of supplied methane is led to outer border of flame through branch pipe installed in reactor chamber. Ratio of total methane volume supplied to burner and through branch pipe of reactor chamber to volume of supplied chlorine :. Inner walls of reactor chamber are washed with water flow and temperature of walls is maintained not higher than 90°C. preferably between 20 and 70°C. Oxidative methane condensation products are precipitated and suspension containing solid carbon particles is separated. Desired product is recovered preferably by heat treatment at temperature no higher than 1000°C.

EFFECT: increased yield of superdispersed carbon with effective specific surface of particles below 200 m2/g and particle size 30-50 nm.
