FIELD: textile engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves throwing at least one filling thread into gap defined by core threads, into gap defined by threads of interweaving base of fabric edge and into gap defined by additional threads of temporary auxiliary edge, with following abutting of filling thread against fabric beating-up edge; knitting filling thread through core threads, interweaving base threads and additional threads of temporary auxiliary edge; cutting off filling thread by means of at least one weft shear from filling thread preliminarily prepared for procedure, with fabric edge and auxiliary edge being made, in each case, in the form of edges fully manufactured by binding interweave through rotation of bodies of rotation of first and second rotational devices for making interweaving edge, interweaving base thread guides and additional threads of temporary auxiliary edge. Bodies of rotation are mounted so as to change direction of rotation. Interweaving base threads and additional threads of temporary auxiliary edge are paid off from bobbin put on rigidly fixed bobbin holder.
