FIELD: box cartridge magazines. SUBSTANCE: the magazine is detachable, it has a body, cartridge feed lever with a spring installed in it, opening for magazine loading with cartridges and an additional opening made in its upper part and designed for feeding the cartridge through it to the gap between the two adjacent cartridges in the magazine. The dimensions of the additional opening make up 1-2 cartridge calibers of the cartridge for its loading in the intervals between shots, the opening is made in the rear end of the body. The magazine may be made in the form of a box-type body with side, front and rear end walls, made on the external side on the one of its side walls is a taper boss, whose vertex lies on the side wall and faces the front end wall, and the base faces the rear end wall, the additional opening is made in the base of the taper boss and part of the rear end wall conjugate to it, the opening center is shifted relative to the line formed by intersection of the side and rear end walls or positioned on it. A boss for shifting the cartridges to a single row may be made opposite the taper boss in the magazine cavity on the inner surface of the opposite side wall. The additional opening may be provided with a cover. The magazine may be provided with an appliance for compression of the spring of the cartridge feed lever.
